Part two of my adventure at LA after AnimeExpo! Alot of shopping, Disneyland, and Little Tokyo!

Part 1: AnimeExpo




July 7, 2014

Packed up in the morning and left our hotel for another hotel at the Millennium Biltmore hotel with my friend Eileen. Waited at the lobby for our room to be ready alone cause my friend had to go to a school visit. Finally got a room, the room was “okay” at least it was charming. Went to go on a errand for some flower for my friend’s boyfriend who want me to give to my other friend. Oh man, I was totally in a mission.

Afterward, met up with Yani and Steph
somewhere at Hollywood for shopping. Oh my god, so many high fashion shop such as Alexander Mcqueen and Vivienne Westwood. I just cried as I took a free water bottle from vivi as souvenir. Only thing I bought was a Tokidoki shirt and a bracelet from a rockin’ shop. Afterward met up with Yani friend, Thalia and had a tour at Titmouse studio. Very very fun and educational tour! Afterward went to Santa Monica to boardwalk, Koreatown to buy stuff at Daiso as well have dinner at a fancy restaurant! I retired the day afterward.

July 8, 2014

Woke up in the morning and tried to secretly give the flower I bought to my friend while she was sleeping, so it would be a surprise…. NOT! she woke up the moment I placed the flower on the bed and I cried because my plan failed!!

After that cute failure, Yani, Steph, Eileen and I went to Disneyland and had a lot of fun!!! Fun, as in business as we tried to get on all of the rides possible. We almost got into all the ride we wanted to visit beside Pirate of the Caribbean because of technical difficulty.  Met a really hot Aladdin and took a photo with him. So hot, no other Disney character model wasn’t good for us.

Got to see magical firework show, but the people near us were so rude and crude so the magical experience was totally ruin. But at least the show was pretty. Used my KLK glowstick during the night to blend with all the other light up toys, huhuhu the nerd within me too real. Ended the day by going back the the hotel and passing out.


July 9, 2014

Woked up and waked around few block with Yani and Eileen for breakfast at Raph. Dear god the amount of time I went to Raph in LA is alot, and I blame it all on Eileen xD Haha!!  Overall a chill day.

Spent my last day in LA shopping at Little Tokyo with Yani. My goal was to find some bottom lashes, but hot damn, I didn’t know they were so expensive! Just went window shopping, while sharing curry bun with Yani. The best thing about sharing is that you can experience a little taste of everything for half the price split among a friend while not trying to get too full. Went to a cafe called Four Clover and had Red Wine Poached Pear Crepes and Rose Boba. So delicious!!!

Met up with Eileen afterward and went to take photo at a Purikura! Ate Ramen at this famous place and oh dear god it was so delicious!!! Went back to the hotel and walked around the area again for a Urban Outfitter for my asian friend who doesn’t have these kinda store in Taiwan. Retired the day. And that’s it, that was my lovely experience at LA and I had alot of fun! I hope to visit LA again next time!!
