Re-uploading my adventure at AnimeExpo 2014. It been three years since I last visted AX. I felt great reminisce coming back to this con. Not only did I meet all my old friend who are local to California, I also got to meet my childhood friend back when we were in middle school. However, I made new memories and new friends. It was a great year at AX, exploring both the art, cosplay, music and fashion.

All morning, I was working on fixing my Satsuki cosplay, not realizing my time. I almost missed my flight, being the last person to board, if my friend Ameorry haven’t waited for me at the gate. But it was okay, as long we got our flight, that’s all it matter! We arrived to LAX around 8AM, but it was waaaaay to early to do anything. So I waited at the airport for an hour for my friend Yani to arrive at the LAX so we can go in the city together. By the time we got to the city…. It was still early!! Saying bye to Yani at the con, Ameorry and I went to Qdoba because Burrito. Also needing to use the bathroom, We asked the cashier if we can use the bathroom. The staff gave us this tiny coin so we can use the bathroom. Amg it was so cute! After Lunch, we went to FedEx to print out my business card because earlier I forgotten I ran out of business card. Got my business card printed, we finally headed to our hotel Downtown LA.

Ameorry and I together both thought it was gonna be a terrible hotel because the name of the hotel was so unoriginal, However to our surprise it was very pretty! We chilled at the lounge, waiting for Ameorry friend Shan whom the room is booked under. One by one, our hotel mate arrive, all but Shan. Our hotel mate and I played a game called “AX or Not” whenever a person enter the hotel as a way to pass time. By time, I mean we were waiting for at least 4 hours in the lobby. Afraid that we won’t be able to register at the con, Ameorry and I left the hotel to the con. Within 5min walking down the street, we were told that Shwana had arrived at the hotel. OTL!!!!! But we kept walking, meeting my friend Eileen, whom I haven’t seen since middle school!!! Oh man, when we got to the con, the line were ridiculously long! However, I spotted my friend Melly, asked her if we could butt into the line…. LIKE A BOSS. So instead of waiting in the hours of line, my friend and I got to register within 15 minutes. While in the line, I got to see almost all my internet friend like Rabu, Rubi, Zea, Laura and my school friend Birrie. Rabu gave me this delicious donuts filled with berries filling and it was delicious!!!! Also got to see Yani working at the con, half dead, because few hours ago all of the computer system shutdown and Yani was just having none of that bullshit. Good to see that she’s doing okay.

Afterward, Ameorry wanted to buy pizza for her friends at the hotel because she wanted to thank them for the room as well carrying our luggage into the room. Found a fancy dancy pizza bar and asdflakdjfalskdjf the pizza look so delicious!!! After buying the pizza, Ameorry and I departed from Eileen. Got back into the hotel and recollected ourself and rested for the day.

I woked up around 6AM to pretty myself for the convention and was officially was ready around 8:30AM to go down to the convention to set up my table at the Artist Alley. Picked up my friend Eileen around 9AM because she needed help carrying her luggage and setup. Took almost all the time till 11:30AM to set our table. I will say, our table was one of the most prettiest among everyone and we feel proud. Too bad we forgotten to take a picture of it, OTL!!!! Went around the con to say hi to my friend before 12PM when the Artist Alley officially opened!! Met few of my internet friend such as Illy, Bun, Tooa, thumper, Van, and Fanazzi who was so lovely and gave me gift art throughout the whole convention,!! After the AA was closed, Illy and Bun invited me, eileen, Pann and Tooa for dinner. We went outside of the city and ate chinese food. This was one of my first experience eating authentic chinese food! Afterward we went to Daiso to buy my white glove and glue stick for my cosplay. Had bubble tea at this famous place, and it was delicious! Went back to my hotel and concluded my day “not” fixing my cosplay

Second day of the convention, and also the only day I was going to cosplay. Originally I wasn’t going to cosplay at AX but after discovering the KLK event, I HAD to bring my satsuki cosplay! Woked around 5AM to get ready, I thought I was the only one awake in the room, only to be scared shitless by Ameorry when I exited the bathroom and she stood outside of the bathroom quietly. I left the room later than everyone because it took me awhile to wear my cosplay. Got taken picture by a lot of people and took my a while to actually get to my AA table. Even at the AA, I was asked for pic many many time. Alot of effort to get out of the table and go around, but it was okay cause it was alot alot of fun!! In exchanged, I took a lot of picture of KLK cosplayer, and have my own lil KLK photoshoot with these cosplayer at my table because everyone else wanted to take pic with me with them xD I was sad that my hair pin got lost during the con, but it was a small detail ;3;

Went to the KLK event…. but lost my way to the event. Luckily everyone I asked (as well photographed) were nice enough to help me find my way again (look at all dat pun) Got to see the first episode of KLK in dub, and it look really great!! Watched the Japanese VA of Ryuko and Satsuki being interviewed and being really cute!!! I was really amazed how the VA of Satsuki actual voice was really high pitched and kawaii. However, when the VA were asked to do a live session of reading a script, I got chilled hearing Satsuki VA changed her voice from kawaii to kakkoi!! Almost teared actually. Satsuki is totally that one character I would asked to step all over me xD The Aoi Eri concert was really awesome, and got to hear not only song from KLK but as well SAO and Fate/Zero and some of her latest song!!! Disappointed that the glow stick given to me was not voice activated, but it was chilled. Left the KLK event early to man my AA table again.

After the con, went back to the hotel to strip all of my shell and being because no matter how much I like my Satsuki cosplay, that shit so hard to wear and I need to be free from it. Afterward I kinda chilled at the hotel doing nothing. For dinner, everyone in our hotel went out to eat all American meal aka Hamburger to celebrate Independence day. Unfortunately we weren't able to see firework, instead heard the noises from a distant. However, everyone enjoyed the dusk view of the city and just enjoy each other presence.

Third Day, which mean fashion fashion babyy! Dressed up in the morning into one of my latest clothes I bought, ready to go into the real world like a BOSS! Met Danny in his awesome Usopp cosplay blargwarlskdf he’s too good mang. Also finally got to meet Barri, best girl. Met one of my internet friend…. WHO WOULDN’T TELL ME WHO SHE WAS. I knew it was Chisai, but I said the wrong username, whom name was similar to her. She be trolling me so hard, but a cute troll for sure =v= She gave me a cute drawing and chatted like a bug with me and Drasho who happen to stroll by. AOH MEET UP KINDA HAPPEN… ish xD

After AA, I went to a Dansou meetup….. that never happen due to confusion of times and date. I was really irritated because I was very excited for this meetup but ended up never happening. But during the one hours wait, weird things happen to me. (1) A girl came up to me asking for a selfies together because she said I look like her GF (2) Someone took a pic of me without asking and didn’t noticed till I heard a camera shutter, creepy (3) Someone on the internet said hi to me, but I didn’t know who (only discover after the con it was Chloe) and other weird shenanigans. After doing nothing, I join forces with Ruiki, Haro and a new friend Chris and Toshi to do fun. By fun, I somehow got myself into a very homo otome photoshoot. It was alot of fun! Afterward went to their hotel to party, saw Ying from AnimeMatsuri again. Ohgwad I took so much shot, I got annihilated first xD Whoops.

Woked up half drunk and half hangover. I just wanna sleep forever, however I knew I had obligation so I left cover in nasty stuff all over my shirt to the Artist Alley. Luckily Ameory totally got my text message and brought all my toothbrush, makeup and shirt to change up at the convention. I just kinda died at my table. But I didn’t realized all my KLK print sold out, so I had to make a trip to Staples to reprint more stock. By the time I came back to the convention again, I was suuuuuper hangover. Chiisai came at a bad time and actually run out of my table to go puke at the bathroom. But after that point I felt a little better. Still, how embarrassing!!!

After the con ended, I got to art trade with my fellow artist friend and said bye to friends. hangover as crap, I just stayed at my hotel and chill the whole day. Kris and I wore our leather jacket and swimsuit to the pool with Shwana as the middle pimp xD Even though my friend and I was invited to a hotel party later tonight, I was like “noooooope no more!!” just went out to grab food, eat and slept.
